As someone who will pad everyone I can, it is a must... If you're revived it shouldn't count against k/d as you never truly died. a death should only count if you actually die and have to respawn...

I have hated this about bc2 forever...

the one part that really pisses me off about that is everyones k/d will be regulated by the amount of medics in game and not a players skill, if I play with randoms 50% of the time there could be a guy who plays with friends 100% of the time that can have better stats than me but be a total shit player due to this.

If he is total shit player then why would you cry about it!? Seems k/d means everything to you, if u are medic then everythig is fine because you can whore the reviving points and get top score without giving a shit about your teammates kd, I personally have experienced bein revived in the middle of battle and die again and boom got an extra death to add to my glorious kd.

This is great because "Rambo revives" will mean shit and my kd won't be affected by medic whores

I can see both side of this argument. My K/D is also among the worst in the clan. Its mainly due to my playing style, which is probably a little too aggressive. But, as Scans said, to me the only stat that counts is W/L. That said, it makes sense not to count a death if you're brought back to life. I do think that they should make it that if you die from an explosion you should not be able to be revived.

There is going to be quite a lot of things to get use to with BF3. It is really going to change the way the game is played, for better & worse.

And Zerky, I think the stats are totally reset once the game is released for real.

Well the question is does the killer get the kill still or does it not count because the guy he shot got revived? That is the question. W/L can be padded by playing with clan members only. Solo people have a harder time keeping a higher W/L than K/D or SPM.

the reason it bothers me most is because I am anti stats padding, anything that will allow a scrub to keep his stats up he will do and not be focused on the objective. When i look at someones stats I'm looking to see what kind of player they are, now stats will be even more worthless because your deaths will now show how many times you were not revived instead of showing how many times the enemy killed you.

I don't really like that either. Doesn't matter whether you get revived the killer should get the kill. I don't wanna count at least 30 kills and then see I have 17 at the end of the game. I will be beyond pissed, and plating weapons will be a real bitch.

I would like to see a revive counter added to the stats. Player X has been revivded 100,000 times but only has died 20.

I'm glad they are copying exactly everything in BF2. As for the infantry maps. You see me dead on the field and your a medic fing revive me. I dont care if I die again do it. In bf2 there was a slight delay so you could kill the enemy that just killed you. also when you died you had a 10 sec time before you could start again. It didnt show the person who killed you. You lay on the ground looking up in the sky.

I cant wait for bf3. i always thought the bad company series was a step backwards.

seriously, berserk is fuckin hilarious when he calls people out. when we were playing black ops he called this one guy out and I couldn't stop laughing for an hour and a half, couldn't play for shit either because of how funny it was.

ROfL i made the kid so pissed he gave me his address, that's when you know when you get in someones head lol. The kid claims he could bench 345 15 times or some bullshit, he claimed he played football but squats didn't matter LOL. Honestly i remember that and i was almost crying from laughing. What made it even better was my next door neighbor was playing with us, and the kid was i can kick your ass. My neighbor was like i doubt that lol, and then he was what are you his fucken neighbor or something and he's like yeah i am. The kid was going off the chain though, i wish i had it recorded you guys would get a laugh. I caught him in more lies too but the bench press and no squats while playing football is the one i remember the most. Good times, yeah they kid was trying so hard hes like i went 45-5 and white was like that's great i can't stop laughing at your dumb ass. I think buzz was there too and he could hear everyone laughing except for the flipping out kid. He even offered to pay for my plane ticket to fight him, what a nut.haha.
