Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand Previews, Conquest Assault Explained

Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand previews are stating to show up on various gaming press websites. It seems the only two maps playable to press were Strike at Karkand and Gulf of Oman. The new Conquest Assault game mode is explained, which is attackers vs defenders type mode. More details on how this works below.

“The clever combatant imposes his will on the enemy, but does not allow the enemy's will to be imposed on him.”

we get the same 3 flags, at least for Karkand and Oman. PC is getting the real conquest assault experience with 5 minimum (Wake Island) flags on all maps. Consoles don't even get a carrier for Gulf of Oman? :-(
I hate being so negative about the game but it's not living up to my expectations. At least it's not BC2.5 like a certain other game is Mw2.5

i wouldnt want that many flags because of the player count but i think conquest assault will be really cool and more towards the faster pace intense fights i like

true, but it's less dynamic, which i don't like. if i wanted a faster pace intense fights i would be playing mw3 right now. With 3 flags it's more intense, true, but there's almost no variation in the way the game is played. Capture two or all three of the flags and camp the remaining enemy base/flag. With, say 5 flags you have to capture more flags and it's more difficult to hold on to any given flag because there's less defenders at each flag. It requires more strategy, but isn't boring. It's like Caspian border Conquest compared to Operation Firestorm Conquest.

Ah thats where it was also in DoD I believe... anyways looking forward to it. Conquest is boring as fuck... rush sucks some times playing it all the time... then this mixed mode is going to be a plus to this game.
